Wave Riding Vehicles Surf Camp was founded in 2001 by former professional surfer and East Coast amateur champion, Brendan Petticrew. For the past 22 years, we have enjoyed teaching the sport of surfing through our Virginia Beach camp program. These many years of experience have given us the ability to fine-tune and deliver a quality product that focuses on achieving maximum results for our customers. Brendan and his team of highly qualified and CPR Certified surf instructors, pass along their love of surfing in an unforgettable experience that is safe, fun, and rewarding! Whether you are a novice surfer or a shredder looking to take your skills to the next level, our unique programs and expert staff will help you do it!

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

Our camps are for ages 7 & up

All morning camps are held 8am - 12pm & all afternoon camps are 1pm - 4pm

Our program benefits people of all skill levels

We maintain a 1:4 instructor to student ratio, and will have more instructors on duty if necessary

All camps run in bad weather (rain, wind, etc.) unless there is lightning. Bad weather often brings great surf, so plan on having fun even if it's not nice out :)

Get Your Photo Taken Like A Pro!
All camp participants receive a goodie bag! Our morning camps end with a party at WRV Surf Shop. A slideshow of the week's highlight photos is presented, and food is provided for campers, family, and friends. The morning surf camp participants leave the party with a goodie bag. Afternoon camp participants receive their bags on the beach. Check out what's in the bags!
